Mission

Lead our team to the greatest victory of all; the recovery of life. In order for an individual suffering from an eating disorder to recover, they must disconnect themselves from the opponent (the eating disorder). I understand that no eating disorder is the same, however, we are united in our struggles and face the same challenge of separating both the mind and body from the disorder. My goal is to increase the numbers on our team and eliminate those trapped on and controlled by the E.D. (Enabling Dictator).

I will accomplish this through becoming the ultimate team player. I am making myself available to anyone and everyone who wants to join our team. I realize through my battle with the disorder, that one cannot achieve the victory of recovery without the help of others. I am only one person, but I have the heart of many, and will answer the call to aide my fellow teammates. I can provide support, guidance, education, and hope to all. I am by no means an expert or therapist specializing in treating ED. However, I have been there and understand the pain, lack of control, and punishment those endure when suffering from this disorder. I have been to hell and I will never go back.
